Deane Systems Fastener Feeders use a step-lift elevator system, resulting
in operation that is much less prone to jamming than similar belt drive
elevators. If a jam does occur, it can be cleared easily, with no
disassembly of the feeder required.
The elevator, collector pan and escapements are powered by a nominal 60
P.S.I.G. air pressure.
